The
Beginning of Love:
This musically smooth and romantic ballad is touching and
beautiful. It's a story of finding a true and deep love at
long last. It could easily be heard as music for a wedding
or other important sentimental occassion.
I'll
Be Loving You: A powerful and lovely song about the way
new love can sometimes be all-consuming. It's a song about
new-found love, but not at the "right" time.
You
Won't Ever Know: This is a sweet but sad love
song. It talks about unrequited love. It's a bittersweet song
with an interesting melody, a story that needs to be heard
and beautiful piano accompaniment.
Every
Once In a While: A lush cabaret-style song.
It's about the chance meeting of that certain someone. This
song has a beautiful interplay of minor and major chords as
well as sweeping lyrics and a boldly dramatic style.
Always:
The rhythmic movement and colorful lyrics make this a fun
and interesting song. It has a synchopated style and a catchy
flavor that's easy and enjoyable to hear.
The
Photograph: The haunting melody and carefully
drawn lyrics add to the majesty of this song. The theme is
about deperately missing someone very dear to you. And then
being able to remember them, and the way you were once together,
through a photograph. It's poignant and sweet.
Rain:
This is one of Marc's older songs. It was originally written
on guitar. It was co-written with his good friend Dena Ratner.
The piano and lyrics closely follow one another and tell the
sad story of questioning a new found love.
Flight
of the Dove: This is a swiftly moving and grandly
written piano instrumental. You might easily imagine it as
a theme or background melody in a movie or video.
Good-bye:
This is a passionately moving and sad song about loss. It's
at once both sweet and powerful.
